TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

GUARANTEE POLICY
A valid credit card is required to guarantee this reservation. Full payment will be made at the hotel.
For stays longer than 7 nights, a mid-stay payment may be required.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellation is free of charge until 12:00 noon (hotel local time), 5 days prior to arrival.
After this deadline, the hotel reserves the right to charge the first night of the stay.
In case of no-show, the hotel reserves the right to charge the total amount of the stay.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

ARTICLE 1: GENERAL PROVISIONS
1.1 The customer undertakes to comply with all provisions set out in this document, as well as with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
These terms may be modified at any time. The applicable terms are those accepted by the customer at the time of booking.
1.2 Any booking confirmation implies full and unreserved acceptance of these general terms and conditions and of the conditions applicable to the selected rate.

ARTICLE 2: PRICES
2.1 Prices are quoted in euros (€) and include VAT at the rate applicable on the day of booking. Any change in applicable taxes will be reflected in the final price.
2.2 Rates are per room, for the number of guests indicated and for the selected dates. Unless otherwise stated, additional services are not included.
2.3 Visitor’s tax: A daily tourist tax per adult guest is collected on behalf of the commune and département. This tax is not included in the rates and must be paid at the hotel.
2.4 Bookings made prior to a promotional offer are non-refundable and cannot be adjusted retrospectively.

ARTICLE 3: RESERVATIONS
3.1 Reservations may be made by telephone, email, post, or via the website: www.petitchateauvercourt.com
3.2 A reservation is confirmed only upon provision of a valid credit card or payment of a deposit.
3.3 Unless otherwise specified, payment for services is made directly at the hotel.
3.4 The customer is solely responsible for their choice of services and their suitability for their needs.

ARTICLE 4: MEANS OF PAYMENT
4.1 Accepted payment methods: cash, Visa, Mastercard, American Express. All payments are in euros (€).
4.2 Online reservations may require either payment or a credit card guarantee. Transactions are secured via a trusted third-party provider.
4.3 A pre-authorisation may be made on the credit card prior to arrival. This is a temporary hold and not a charge, except in the case of non-refundable offers.

ARTICLE 5: CANCELLATION OR MODIFICATION BY THE CUSTOMER
5.1 In accordance with Article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to accommodation services.
5.2 Cancellation, modification, or no-show conditions depend on the rate selected at the time of booking.

ARTICLE 6: HOTEL STAY
6.1 Guests may be required to complete a police registration form upon arrival and present valid identification.
6.2 Rooms are available from 4:00 p.m. and must be vacated before 11:00 a.m. on departure day.
6.3 Room occupancy limits must be respected for safety reasons.
6.4 The use of external appliances is prohibited.
6.5 Dogs are accepted subject to prior approval and may incur an additional charge.
6.6 Any damage caused will be charged to the customer.
6.7 All rooms are non-smoking. A cleaning fee of €150 may be charged in case of non-compliance.
6.8 Guests must behave responsibly and respectfully.
6.9 Guests arriving after 8:00 p.m. are requested to inform the hotel in advance.

ARTICLE 7: FORCE MAJEURE
7.1 Force majeure refers to any unforeseeable and uncontrollable event preventing obligations.
7.2 Neither party may be held liable in such circumstances.

ARTICLE 8: DATA PROTECTION
8.1 Personal data is processed in accordance with GDPR and French law.
Guests may exercise their rights by contacting Petit Château Vercourt, 1 rue de l’église, 80120 Vercourt, France.
8.2 Guests must use WiFi lawfully.
8.3 Common areas are under video surveillance.

ARTICLE 9: RELOCATION
If necessary, guests may be relocated to equivalent accommodation.

ARTICLE 10: LIABILITY
10.1 Customers are liable for damages.
10.2 The hotel is not responsible for personal belongings unless secured.
10.3 Website content is non-contractual.

ARTICLE 11: COMPLAINTS AND MEDIATION
11.1 Complaints must be submitted within 8 days.
11.2 Mediation available via www.mtv.travel

ARTICLE 12: APPLICABLE LAW
French law applies.

ARTICLE 13: TELEPHONE SOLICITATION

ARTICLE 14: LANGUAGE
In case of discrepancy between language versions, the French version shall prevail.
